Ambient, Experimental, Relaxation

I’m always on the lookout for what I call 'incense' music - music that goes well with an incense. My favourite time for incense are on weekends, in the morning, just after breakfast - lighting up an incense and putting on some relaxing music to begin the day to.

Wilson Tanner - 69

69 by Wilson Tanner is one that I’ve put on repeat countless times over the years. Andrew Wilson and John Tanner recorded “69” in a Perth backyard. The first two tracks “Sun Room” and “Long Water” are standouts with their mix of piano and clarinet creating a nostalgically relaxing atmosphere - I picture a sundrenched cabin nestled by a lake every time I hear these tracks. The rest of the album descends into a softer atmosphere. “Keith” is another favourite on this album, with the mix of hollow percussion and clarinet again making a repetitive and meditative track.
