KeepCupが大好きで、カップ、ボトル、ステンレスといくつかモデルを持っています。Commuterはオーストラリアに旅行に行った時に、一足早くゲットして以来、一番出番が多いKeepCupになりました。KeepCupを好きな理由が飲み口が分厚いプラスチック感やシリコン感はないので、美味しくコーヒーが飲めるところです。さらにCommuterは、完全密封で鞄に入れられるので、お出かけにも便利です。子どもと一緒に出かけると、ゆっくり座ってコーヒーが飲めないこともしばしばですが、保冷保温機能付きなので、移動の合間にコーヒーを飲みつつ、エネルギーチャージしています！

Subtle Bodies’ Peruvian Palo Santo incense brings out the wood’s natural spicy, minty, and sweet notes in a convenient stick form with gentle, light smoke. I love all of my Posie collection, so it's hard to choose a favourite, but when the mornings and evenings get chilly and I start to crave hot lattes and knitwear, YEN is definitely the scent I use the most. It's rich and warm, but not too sweet, and slightly refreshing, making it the perfect scent for a quiet autumn night, when you can open the window a little and feel the outside air.

Since we started bringing in Australian art I have been contemplating which print would grace my walls. I finally decided to go with a print by photographer Shelley Horan. Shelley's photos are abstract enough that they fit into any room that I place it in and I found that the poster format with the white margins gives the print a nice playful composition. A2 is smaller than a regular poster size so it fits in my small apartment just right.

Lately, I’ve been taking long walks between busy days to clear my head. I usually bring my keys, smartphone, camera, and a bottle of jasmine tea. The Bottle Light is lightweight and easy to carry, but my favourite feature is the convenient hang loop, which I can clip to my bag. On these walks, I often stop at quiet parks and then a café. I’ve found that being able to transform the bottle into a cup makes it more familiar for baristas when refilling it for me.

A year round favourite

AGI is a versatile scent, perfect for any time of year, day or night. The crisp citrus notes cut through humid summer days, while the rich leather and blackcurrant offer a grounding warmth for winter evenings. Sweet, sour, and fresh, AGI is a candle I always keep on hand.

For Plants and Potatoes

Lightly's Vera Vase is the centrepiece of my kitchen, holding a mix of fruits and veggies. Although it may have originally been designed for plants, its playful silhouette fits beautifully in my kitchen, serving as both a functional and decorative piece. The dark teal adds a striking contrast to my apartment, and its a piece I admire daily while washing the dishes.

Me time

I usually have a brief period of time to myself before my children arrive home from school. On these rare occasions of peace, I enjoy lighting MAHO's Gypsy Wood incense while reading a book. The rich woody scent combined with the gentle sweetness of sunflower makes these brief moments of me-time even more special. The scent of MAHO is so splendid that I like to open the windows and enjoy it with the comforting breeze.

Heavy Peace

I love using the Perfumer H incense holder by Studio Henry Wilson with my favourite incense and putting on some relaxing ambient music. It’s compact, catches ashes and easy to clean. The design is very Henry Wilson, utilising heavy bronze, it’s actually very heavy for its size, but it feels so nice to pick up and move around the house or office, wherever I am. It looks great and I’m sure this will be used for many lifetimes ahead of me - the design is timeless and is indestructible.

Luxury of simpleness

The Korean Red Cedar incense by Subtle Bodies is my favourite. The spicy scent reminds me of curry upon first lighting.

Subtle Bodies incense is made from only one fragrant wood that comes from a single forest and a scentless binding wood. It’s nothing but pure ingredients. As soon as I burn the incense, the atmosphere in the room changes.

This incense embodies the notion that simpleness is luxury.

Memories and Bathtime

I most look forward to bathtime on the off days when I have the time to relax at home, especially after a jolting commute home from work in a crowded train. The natural scent of Bath Soak, which is similar to that of Cypress wood, reminds me of childhood memories of going to the onsen with my family in the countryside. I love the sensation of the organic clay residue left at the bottom of the bath.
